We started our little pantry with the idea that we would help food-insecure school families during the COVID shutdowns. That small act grew into a community movement to help families that were being overlooked and in need. It is our great honor to help the families feel uplifted, supported, and food secure.

MVK (Most Valuable Kids)

MVK overcomes the financial obstacles associated with live events by distributing unused tickets to children that would enjoy the opportunity to go to an event, but would otherwise not be able to because of the high costs associated with tickets.

Free99 Fridge

“free99” is an urban expression used to describe the price of an object or service that should‘ve cost you money, but you got it for free instead. Community fridges are placed outside local businesses and filled with fresh fruits and vegetables to fight hunger while also preventing food waste. There are currently 4 in and around Atlanta

Boys & Girls club

For more than 80 years, Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta (BGCMA) has ignited the unlimited potential of kids and teens by creating safe, inclusive, and engaging environments. Our 26 Clubs located in 11 counties across metropolitan Atlanta have traditionally served nearly 8000 kids & teens (ages 6-18) each year, offering youth development programs during critical non-school hours that promote academic success, healthy lifestyles, and character & leadership.

Chris 180

CHRIS 180 has been at the forefront of behavioral health and child welfare service delivery since 1981 to fill a gap in services for children and youth with behavioral and emotional challenges who were not thriving in foster homes and needed small specialized group homes. In 1986, the organization recognized another gap in services and created Georgia’s first independent living program to help youth aging out of foster care. Then in 1992, Georgia CHARLEE became CHRIS Homes representing the core values of Creativity, Honor, Respect, Integrity and Safety.

The grocery spot

The Grocery Spot is a community supported, pay what you can, free grocery store and event space.

Our mission is to improve food access and fight for food justice as well as provide a safe space to gather, learn, and grow.

City Lights is an affordable (HUD/FHA Section 231) senior apartment community for seniors 62+ years of age with 1 bedrooms for rent in the Old Fourth Ward neighborhood
